A group of ladies met on Regal Drive yesterday to unpack the Ten Thousand Village order. We now have all of our initial merchandise in house, except coffee. It is coming from a roaster in Leeds, Alabama just east of Birmingham. Their name is Higher Grounds. Isn't that a neat name for a fair trade coffee roaster?
Janet Towery and her helpers are on schedule to start setting up the store on Sunday. I can't wait to see all the merchandise on display. In general, it is very colorful, so it should be a feast for the eyes when it is all set up.
We will be open for business on Monday October 2. I am excited.
